As reported over at Billboard.biz, NZ's very own musical wonder woman Kimbra (Johnson) is the first female '90s-born artist to top the Billboard Hot 100, thanks to her cameo appearance on Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know. 

 

Miley Cyrus previously held the title for the highest ranking song for a female born in the decade of grunge, peaking at No. 2 in 2009 with Party in the U.S.A.
