Kimbra - representing the '90s

Kimbra - representing the '90s
By NZM Newswire

As reported over at Billboard.biz, NZ's very own musical wonder woman Kimbra (Johnson) is the first female '90s-born artist to top the Billboard Hot 100, thanks to her cameo appearance on Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know

Miley Cyrus previously held the title for the highest ranking song for a female born in the decade of grunge, peaking at No. 2 in 2009 with Party in the U.S.A.

As Somebody I Used To Know spends its third week at number one, Kimbra is preparing her debut album, 'Vows', for release in the US on May 22.
