While Kiwi acts including The Naked And Famous, Street Chant, Zowie and David Dallas are busy boozing and schoozing at this years South By South West music festival and conference in Austin, Texas - it appears Auckland’s Surf City haven't been so lucky.

The label said [via their FB page] “…we hate to confirm that Surf City are unable to attend SXSW 2011. We believe visas will be processed soon and hope to announce full tour dates shortly. We are very sorry to everyone who has worked hard to get the band here and anyone who was hoping to see them…”
