Scribe Debuts at 25 in the Australian Singles Chart

4th May 2004

Scribe’s first Australian commercial single release "Not Many – The Remix" backed with "Stand Up" has debuted at 25 and has been earmarked a "bullet performer" on the Australian Record Industry Association Chart (ARIA).

Michael Parisi, Managing Director of FMR Australia said "NZ hip hop is indeed standing the f**k up here in Oz!! Scribe is on the way over here as well. Never thought I'd see the day that commercial radio in Oz would adopt a hip hop act let alone one from NZ!! We're thrilled...and it's just the start of what we believe is a real international career".

Scribe will be travelling to Australia for performances and promotion later this month. His debut album, "The Crusader" debuted at number one in New Zealand. The album has sold 70,000 copies in New Zealand and 9,000 in Australia prior to the release of the "Not Many – The Remix" single.
