IN STORES NOW!
If you were anticipating Albino's 'Submerged Part 1', which was due to drop on the 28th of February, unforeseen circumstances have caused it to be pushed back. Albino was involved in a little bit of a physical altercation and ended up getting injured, which prevented 833 Records from filming the videos for A-L-B-I to The N-O and Welcome To Tat North, but in a couple of weeks he should be on his feet and they can be completed.
Albino's album 'Submerged Part 1' should be out in stores in late May.
Albino has also finished his follow-up album 'Street Illegal' which features: Ermehn, Tyna and JB, Sky High, STEAM, Truce, and Mykill Miers, Vooodu and Jo'Ell Ortiz from the U.S. Production is handled by: Albie Cora (4th Element's 'Communicate Via'), Smooth Inc (currently working with 4 Corners), 44 The Hip Hopalyptic (Albino's Here I Come feat. 4th Element), and Rob Lundon (MC Lucia, and Tyna's The Natural). The album should be out in August.
With the left-over tracks from the two Albino projects 833 has put together a mix CD titled 'Cut The Bread'. It features tracks with STEAM, Truce, Tyna and JB, Ermehn, Sky High and more. This mix CD will be available for free to 833's Street Team members along with Albino and 833 stickers, posters and other goodies.
833 are building up to NZ Music Month (May), and during that time they'll have a couple of free mix CDs to give away, one from Albino and another featuring exclusive unreleased tracks from the whole crew.
The new video for 4th Element's Break U Off is being prepped now, and the boys are hard at work with their new album scheduled for early 2006, which should include some special guest artists. The crew's first album 'Raw Nu Inventions' is scheduled to hit stores in Australia on June 10 2005.

Sky High have finished their first single These Hard Times and are filming a video for it very soon. The video will be filmed/created by Rob Zorab, who is currently putting the final touches onthe new Misfits of Science video, and the artwork for Shihad's new album. The Sky High single and video for These Hard Times should be on air in late July. The album 'Written Thoughts' is almost finished.
R&B artist NDVJ's first single Bone To Pick will be out in the second half of 2005 and his debut album 'Individual' is set for October 3rd.
The www.833.co.nz store will be opening in May, and it will have 833, 4th Element, Albino, Sky High and WestSteez shirts for sale in a variety of styles and colours; plus mix CDs for sale, and internet-only remixes. An 833.co.nz forum will open in May.
2006 will be a big year for 833; they have started working on three releases for 2006 already: 4th Element's yet-to-be titled sophomore album (tentatively slated for January/February 2006), Albino's third album 'P-2' (tentatively slated for a June 2006 release) and Mr Sick of Flatbush Ward, Ermehn's homeboy, and 833's first artist from South Auckland (the album is tentatively slated for August 2006).
Each album is specifically targeted to appeal to a U.S/Canadian audience and will be premiered at 2006's South By SouthWest festival in Austin, Texas, Miami's Winter Music Conference and Cannes' MIDEM.
There will be guest appearances from New Zealand and American MCs, producers, DJs and singers on those albums and the first singles from each will be hitting TV and Radio in the second half of 2005.
