The Sounds Aotearoa music industry expo will return this March outside of its usual home in New Plymouth.
Finding its new home in Aucklandís Aotea Square, the event has been re-branded as "New Zealandís only indigenous music expoĒ, celebrating Maori language, culture and traditions.
The two day expo will be held alongside the Auckland Arts Festival from March 10 Ė 11, 2013.
Members of the public are invited to attend the Sounds Aotearoa speaker seminar series which features a range of international delegates, including Ulsan World Music Festival director Jung Hun Lee, Karen Fischer of Hawaii's Pacific Artists Network, Executive Producer of FestíNapuan Tommy Dick, Raggamuffin NZ Director Jackie Sanders and more.
Confirmed performers for the Sounds Aotearoa music showcase include: Maisey Rika, Louis Baker, Will Crummer & The Rarotongans, Ria Hall, Miss Black & The Light, Moana & The Tribe, Tama Waipara, Toni Huata, Waiora, Syd, Pieter T and Dei Hamo, Funkommunity, Koile and Awanui Reeder.
