Local acts in the Grammy spotlight

Two local names appear in the finalist announcement for the 2013 Grammy Awards. 

Bret McKenzie’s Oscar winning song Man or Muppet, composed for 'The Muppets' film, is up for Best Song Written For Visual Media, while Gotye’s US #1 hit Somebody That I Used To Know featuring our very own Kimbra is in contention for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Record Of The Year.  

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 10, 2013 in Los Angeles.
