Making Tracks funding decisions November 2012

NZ On Air will fund 22 new music projects from its November Making Tracks funding round.
The 22 projects were selected from a field of 135 applications. Nine are $10,000 grants for recording a song and making a music video to back up the release of the song and 13 are $6,000 grants for making a music video only. Decisions are based on the broadcast, music and audience merits of the songs that have been submitted.
The following artists and projects will receive up to $10,000 to record a song and make a video,

Josh Leys / Bye Bye Baby
L-O L-O / Need Your Love
Rackets / Separator
Robert Scott / Lazy Boy
She's So Rad / Levels
The Phoenix Foundation / The Captain
Tiny Ruins / Me at the Museum, You in the Winter Gardens
The following artists and projects will receive $6,000 to make a video,
Boycrush feat. Watercolours / Secrets
Bulletproof feat. MC Tali / Zion's Theme
Julia Deans / Walking In The Sun
Konflikt feat. Tyree / Keep It Moving
Maisey Rika feat. Anika Moa / Ruaimoko
Opshop / Never Leave Me Again
Rival State / Sisters Of Fate
SJD / Make Love Ask Questions Later
Sons of Zion / Tell Her
These Four Walls / Saints and Sinners
Tomorrow People / You Give Me Something
Two Cartoons / Bubblewrap
Unknown Mortal Orchestra / Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)
The winner of theaudience.co.nz Wild Card Making Tracks grant for November will be announced on 1 December when the votes have been counted.
