The Audio Foundation present Now! Here! Festival

The Audio Foundation will present a three-day celebration of NZ’s sound artists and musicians across Auckland's Wine Cellar, Whammy, Silo Park and Audio Foundation venues from August 10 - 12.

Now! Here! Festival will feature a range of emerging and established sound artists who have contributed to 'Erewhon Calling', a new publication surveying the vital experimental music scene in NZ to be launched on the opening night.

Artists performing over the three days and nights include: noise rockers The Dead C, Coolies and Bad Statistics, experimental electronic figureheads Rosy Parlane, Omit and Rachel Shearer, exponents of adventurous improvisation Jeff Henderson and Peter Stapleton, innovative guitar expansionists Greg Malcolm and Bruce Russell; and such liminal talents as Sean Kerr, Stanier Black Five and Mr Sterile Assembly.

Alongside the performances, a range of children's workshops, panel discussions, film screenings and vocal classes will also be held.
