Ipswich take out RoundUp 2012

Christchurch band Ipswich have been crowned grand champions of the 2012 RDU Roundup Band Competition, held over the weekend at Dux Live.

The trio who are on the verge of releasing their debut studio album ‘Baby Factory’ beat out other Garden City locals The Villain, Will Sergeant Survive?, Golden Orange and The Response to take home the title and a healthy prize package including: studio recording time and mastering, a mentoring and promotional package from CHART, press shots, $2000 worth of publicity thanks to The Press, management membership and mentoring from the Music Managers Forum (MMF), $1500 credit from NZ Rockshops and vinyl recording from In Real Life vinyl records.
