Deezer and Merlin join forces

Having just set up shop down under, music streaming service Deezer has announced a global licensing deal with independent rights agency Merlin, bringing repertoire from Merlin's labels and distributors including: Warp, Yep Roc/Redeye, Epitaph, Phonofile, Tommy Boy, One Little Indian, Kontor New Media, !K7, Merge, and Koch/E1 onto the Deezer platform.
The Paris-based site currently has 20 million users worldwide, and offers access to 30,000 artist-based radio stations and 15 million tracks on demand from over 2,000 record labels, including all four majors.
