The Black Seeds to release fifth studio album

The Black Seeds will release their fifth studio album 'Dust And Dirt' on April 9. Self recorded and produced in their Wellington studio, the 13-track album follows the band’s 2008 release ‘Solid Ground’ and is said expand on their trademark dub/funk grooves introducing new sounds and styles.

Black Seeds frontman Barnaby Weir said, ‘’Working in our own studio gave us the freedom to get the best out of ourselves over a longer period of time, and to trial new techniques and tones with Mike Fabulous at the controls.’’
