The Song Collective launch first episode
31st January 2012
The Song Collective, a new website showcasing performances from musicians against picturesque backdrops, has launched its first episode.
The website was founded by Canterbury musician Brooke Singer with assistance from APRA NZ, and was created with the intention of capturing an extensive collection of songs and the stories behind them.
The first episode features Dunedin songwriter John White performing the title-track from his third solo album ‘The Inkadies’ on a small jetty in Port Chalmers.
The second episode will be released next week featuring Oamaru native Marla Jean.
