Making Tracks deadline next week

The deadline for the February round of NZ On Air's Making Tracks funding scheme is steadily approaching. The scheme replaced the three previous funding options (Music Video, New Recording Grant and Album Funding) in July last year and has currently supported 163 projects, from 610 applications.

Artists can apply for up to $10,000 per song – made up of $4000 to record the audio track and $6000 to make a music video for it. All acts are limited to just three grants a year, meaning a maximum of $30,000 in funding per annum, per act.

Applications for the February round close on Wednesday, February 1 at 5pm.
