Entries open for the 2012 Pacific Music Awards

Entries are now open for the 2012 Pacific Music Awards until Monday 20 February. Now in its 8th year, the awards acknowledge the success of pacific artists in NZ and celebrate excellence in pacific music.

Categories open for nomination include, Best Pacific Group, Best Pacific Female Artist, Best Pacific Male Artist, Best Pacific Urban Artist, Best Pacific Song, Best Pacific Language, Best Pacific Gospel Album, Best Pacific Music Album.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 31 May at the TelstraClear Pacific events centre - alongside recipients of the People’s Choice Award, Most Promising Pacific Artist, Lifetime Achievement Award and Radio Airplay Award.
