Taane and Police come to mutual agreement

The disorderly behaviour charge laid against Tiki Taane earlier this year has been dropped.

 

Taane was arrested in April after singing ‘Fuck Tha Police’ during a standard inspection of Tauranga's Illuminati bar.

 
Following an arranged mediation, both Taane and the Police came to the conclusion that the arrest resulted from a misunderstanding, and the charge was dropped.
 
Tiki said via his Facebook page "...A massive thanks to my amazing Tikidub sisters, my whanau & friends, for you were my korowai, my cloak that protected & kept me safe from the barrage of sto...rmy weather. Id like to acknowledge the Tauranga Police & the Justice Mediators for taking the steps in resolving this matter positively..."
