Rick Bryant thrown in the slammer for drug offences

Kiwi musician Rick Bryant has been sentenced to two years in prison for dealing drugs. Bryant pleaded guilty to possession of the Class-A drug cocaine, as well as possession of ecstasy, cannabis, selling cannabis and possession of cannabis for supply.  He was sentenced on all five charges in the High Court at Auckland this morning.
 
Bryant’s musical history can be traced back over thirty years including his involvement with the highly successful Windy City Strugglers and Rick Bryant and the Jive Bombers. He is also a member of the Jubilation Gospel Choir.
