Guitar legend dies, aged 62

Kiwi guitar legend Martin Winch has died. Winch was the creator of the hugely successful 'Espresso Guitar' album which sold more than 80,000 units in NZ and 35,000 in Australia. He was also a member of bands including Salty Dogg, The 1860 Band and toured with musicals such as Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar and My Fair Lady. His guitar can be heard on thousands of TV and radio commercials including Toyota's 'Welcome to my World' campaign.

Martin Winch lost his battle with cancer on May 21, aged 62.
