LOOP News: Tommy and Fly My Pretties

So far LOOP's newest signing, Tommy, have presented live interpretations of their debut album '4000 Years' to audiences in Christchurch, Dunedin and Wellington, and this Labour Weekend the are paying a visit to Auckland.  Next week they head down the Island and hop on the ferry for a couple of shows across Cook Strait.

LOOP Recordings have also announced that they will be releasing the Fly My Pretties album on Wenerei the 27th of October.

Fly My Pretties was the brainchild of Black Seeds' frontman Barnaby Weir (aka Flash Harry), in which he collaborated with a host of notable Wellington  musicians. Iit was performed, filmed and recorded live at Wellington's Bats theatre in five sell-out shows.

The first single is Lucky, which features, alongside Barnaby, fellow Black Seed Mike Fabulous, Fat Freddy's Drop's Toby Laing, Darryn Sigley from The Hairy Lollies and The Phoenix Foundation's Samuel Flynn Scott. A DVD including a doco, live music videos and live footage, will be in store for Christmas.
