That's the Ticket

Ticket might have had a short trip, but the early '70s psychedelic-rockers were none-the-less legendary, and are getting together almost four decades on for two shows in November. Al’s Bar in Christchurch and Auckland's Kings Arms will host the reformed Ticket on Friday and Saturday November 12/13. With still respected and musically active members including drummer Ricky Ball and bassist Paul Woolright, expect a return to the very cool days of acid-rock and extended jams, maybe without the hair. The two shows will accompany a reissue of the band's 1972 album 'Awake'.
