Waiata Maori Awards finalists

The finalists have been announced for Waiata Maori Awards alongside the winners of the Nominated Awards - recognising contribution to the Maori music industry. Featuring seven first-time finalists, the third annual awards will be held at the Hawke's Bay Opera House in Hastings on September 10. This year’s awards will include a new category (Best Maori Urban Roots Album) will also include the launch of Reggae as a new category for 2011.
