There Is No Recession In NZ songwriting competition

KIWIFM in association with York Street Recording Studio are running a songwriting competition to lift the spirits of Kiwis in the midst of the economic crisis. The call has been put out for all singer/songwriters to submit original songs, of a happy nature, for the chance to win a recording session at York St with the all-star Pop Science session band. All entries will be considered by a panel of judges from KIWI FM and York Street and whittled down to a top five. The selected tracks will then be uploaded to www.kiwifm.co.nz and left to the public to determine the winner.
 
The Pop Science session band is made up of Scotty Pearson (Elemeno P), Clint Harris (Opshop) and Stephen Small (Autozamm, The Verlaines).
