Trinity Roots Go Gold

12th August 2004

Exactly 8 weeks after release, Trinityroots' second album 'Home, Land and Sea' has achieved Gold sales.

The self funded, independently released record debuted in the national album charts at number 6 and stayed there for 2 weeks and remains in the top 20.

It took a year for Trinityroots' debut album 'True' to achieve Gold status. For 'Home, Land and Sea' to go Gold within 2 months of release, without a commercial single or a video, is a major achievement and an inspiration for all independent artists in New Zealand.

This weekend Trinityroots perform the final gig of their nationwide tour in their home town of Wellington.

FINAL GIG Sat 14 Aug

WELLINGTON - Town Hall

With support from The Elephant Men

Presales $22 +b/fee from Ticketek and Real Groovy

Doors 7.30pm
