Pitch in for Ritchie Pickett

Legendary country-rock pianist Ritchie Pickett has not been in the best of health in recent times, and his friends are rallying around him to put on a concert for his benefit.

To be held on Sunday June 17 at Auckland's King's Arms tavern, 'Pitch in 4 Pickett' features a truly massive lineup of New Zealand musicians who will all be playing for Ritchie.

Performers include Graham Brazier, Larry Morris, Chris Gunn, Adrian Keeling, Mike Walker, Pete McGregor, Tom Sharplin, Gray Bartlett, Brendon Dugan, Shona Laing, Kokomo, Steve Larkins, Shane, Rob Galley, Brendon Ham, Peter Hales, Rob Paterson, Richard Anaru, Ambrose Splescia, Gordon Joll, Ray Eade, Peter Wood and many more.

The show will be divided into three sections.

1pm - 4pm: Jazz show

4pm - 7pm: Country show

7pm - late: Rock/pop show

Doors open at midday, and entry is $25 koha.
