Goodshirt and Pluto Team Up for Tour

Goodshirt are back on the road following the release of their well-received second album 'Fiji Baby' and a very busy 12 months for the band. They toured Japan, played in front of fans across the UK, gave Aussie audiences a quick look at their live show during the Big Day Out, played a show in Fiji and still managed to spend some quality time at home in their garden shed to record the album. Yep – the majority of pre-production and engineering took place in a home studio in Grey Lynn, New Zealand following in the same tradition of their first release, 'Good'.

This is the first fully fledged Goodshirt tour of NZ in over 12 months and is the start of a run that takes them to Australia where they join Spiderbait for a national tour including a show with the Living End on the Gold Coast and then it’s off to the UK, Canada and the USA. Next Monday the tour takes a special detour as the boys have been asked to play main support for Franz Ferdinand at the St James in Auckland.

Having recently inked deals with EMI in Australia and Canada the band aim to find label partners in at least another two territories by the end of the year.

Who better to team up with on the New Zealand leg of this tour than their old friends Pluto, who recently returned from the prestigious SXSW festival in Texas, and have just released Dance Stamina, the first single from their forthcoming album.
