Coco Solid release album number four: 'Gentlemen Prefer Bombz'

30th November 2006

Coco Solid's fourth album 'Gentlemen Prefer Bombz' is released November 30 at the Pony Club in Auckland.

DJ Han Baby, Jizmatron and hip hop veteran Mi$O have all produced beats for the album with rock producer Alc5 staying onboard for another rap 'n' roll release.

Coco and Erik keep their trademark lo-fi sound and acid tongues for 'Gentlemen Prefer Bombz' - the album belts out booty bass, electric guitars, dancehall and a few electro surprises.

Crimefighters is another electric collaboration with 'the DoggFather' DJ Jizmatron. After his catchy remix B.A.S.S. in 2005, the new energetic Crimefighters is a party anthem that has already created a buzz with C&E fans.

The first single off the album, Crimefighters, is available for free download from www.cocosolid.com and www.myspace.com/cocosolid

'Gentlemen Prefer Bombz' is on sale from Friday, December 1.

Auckland sound-clash fanatics, Coco Solid (Coco Solid & Erik Ultimate) have been likened to Princess Super Star and Peaches for their highly sexed raps and lo-fi beats. Their sound: a bossy '80s electro rap, mixing a subversive attitude with their trademark wit.
