Sinate to Unleash Violent Ambitions
17th October 2006
Auckland metallers Sinate are about to unleash their brand new album 'Violent Ambitions' one year after the release of their debut 'Beyond Human'.
The band evolved as kids from members of PowerAxe to Desecrator to Sinate to 8 Foot Sativa and back to Sinate, who were originally formed in 2000 by Matt and Sam Sheppard. The current line up has added Sean Parkinson on guitar and Antony 'The Colonel' Folwell on bass.
Their debut album 'Beyond Human' was released in September 2005, after being mixed and mastered at York St Studios. Second album 'Violent Ambitions' was recorded and mastered in Sweden.
Sinate are playing live instore at Auckland's Real Groovy Records this Friday 20th October at 6 pm; this marks the day that 'Violent Ambitions' will be released.
They head off to Australia next week to play metal festival Hellfest in Bisbane; and then return home with Australia's State of Integrity and their mainland mates Tainted for the 'Violent Ambitions' national tour in November.
