Cobra Khan's Sleepless Lions in stores 18th September. (Bring your earplugs).

5th September 2006

After a year together, Auckland based Cobra Khan prepare to release their debut EP. Having established a reputation for tight and infamously loud stage performances, September 2006 heralds the release of 'Sleepless Lions'.

Together since August 2005, Cobra Khan have toured with legendary local punk band Kitsch and hardcore punk outfit the Bleeders. January saw the band playing the New Zealand stage of the Big Day Out and they have since provided support for international music heroes the Misfits and dirty rock veterans Nashville Pussy. Two videos from the band, Wrapped in Plastic and the more recent Black Box (filmed in New York), will be familiar to many from airplay on C4, Juice and Alt TV, with both singles receiving solid airplay on local radio networks as well. A new video is just about set for the forthcoming single Runaway  too.

'Sleepless Lions' is in stores 18th September 2006, so expect the volume knobs to be set on full.
