NZ Music Month Gig Guide Up And Running

Once again NZ Music Month is shaping up to be a biggie. www.nzmusicmonth.co.nz will be keeping all you lucky punters in the loop with all the happenings across New Zealand… and it looks like 2006 might be the busiest NZ Music Month yet.

The NZ Music Month gig guide already has 210 gigs listed; and 44 TV and Radio programmes featuring 100% NZ Music Content. And it doesn't stop there as gigs are being added each and every day.

There is however one date to mark into your diary with a Permanent Marker… and that is Sunday 30th April. The Eve of NZ Music Month!!!

Last year Shihad kicked off the festivities with a storming set in Aotea Square amid rain, screaming teenagers and an exceptionally loud sound system.

This year NZ Music Month and Vodafone sees the outdoor extravaganza move to Wellington with Waitangi Park hosting the start of the month-long celebration of everything NZ and musical on Sunday 30th April.

Of course with weather being what it is the NZ Music Month team have planned ahead and have Wellington Town Hall sitting on standby in the event of the excessive rainstorm joining the party again.

There will be a fresh new line up to unveil shortly, but in the meantime all you need to know is NZ Music Month's FREE All Ages Show is brought to you by Vodafone and will be at Waitangi Park, Wellington on Sunday 30th April at 2pm.
