World Battle of the Bands Finalists; Plus Intergalactic Live

The World Battle of the Bands international final is fast approaching and all of the contenders have now been found.

Sydney band Townhall Steps took top honours at the Australian final, and LA's Something To Burn will also now be heading to Hong Kong to compete for the World title on November 26.

They join New Zealand's The Twitch, Hong Kong's Qiu Hong, the Philippines' Sunflower Day Camp, and Singapore's The Ocean Band.

Previous World Battle of the Bands finalists, LA's Jaggedy Ann, are coming to New Zealand to work with AC/DC's drummer, Phil Rudd, who will be producing their debut album. It will be released worldwide by Intergalactic Records starting in NZ, Australia and South Eeast Asia in March / April 2006.
