2005 MMF Music Management Awards Finalists

The Music Managers' Forum (MMF) has announced the finalists in the 2nd Annual Music Management Awards.

All current members of the MMF are eligible for the three voted categories of Best Manager (Signed Artist), Best Manager (Unsigned Artist) and Best Self-managed Artist. A large panel of music industry experts were asked to vote this year, representing the many different facets of the music industry that managers regularly interface with.

The MMF will also be presenting two honourary awards – Industry Champion and Outstanding Achievment in Music Management.

The MMF Awards take place at the end of this years October Sessions – a one-day seminar series and networking event being held at York Street Studios (10am – 6pm). For more information on the October Sessions visit

Industry Champion

Awarded to a person or organisation in the music industry who has been supportive of the MMF’s aims and objectives over the last 12 months, and of professional management practices in general.

Outstanding Achievment In Music Management

Awarded to a manager who has set the standard for other managers to aspire to professionally.

The MMF is a professional organisation for music managers, self-managed artists and anyone with an interest in music management. It represents over 70 members nationwide, and is affiliated with the 14 other national management associations via the International MMF.
