MMF Seminar: Make More Money For Your Artists

9th August 2005

The Music Managers' Forum is presenting a seminar series in conjunction with RIANZ and PPNZ.

Mark Roach from PPNZ and Dean Cameron, the RAP fund manager, will be discussing the roles that these organisations play in the New Zealand music industry and how they can benefit your artists.

Phonographic Performances (NZ) Ltd (PPNZ) is the recording industry collection company representing music rights owners in New Zealand. PPNZ can grant licences to anyone playing or using recorded music in the public arena.

The Recording Artists And Producers (RAP Fund) fund is designed to support New Zealand artists and producers by ensuring licence fees collected by PPNZ Ltd are identified and passed on to RAP Fund participants.

Mark Roach says "These seminars will be very informative for those who want to find out more about these two organisations and how, through them, they can apply for more income for their artists."

All seminars begin at 6pm.

Seminar Dates:

Monday 22 August: Indigo, Wellington

Tuesday 23 August: Zinc, Christchurch

Thursday 1 September: NZ Music Industry Commission, Auckland
