Autozamm As For Now Out Today; Release Party Tonight

14th July 2005
Mike, Nick, Ben and Jacob combine to create the Autozamm sound. From the humble beginnings down in their hometown of Wellington to the bright lights of Auckland this band have been eating and breathing dirty rock n roll since late 2002.  Today they release their debut record, 'As For Now' on Flaming Pearl/Global Routes.

Their first EP 'Shade Of Brown' was released in 2004 after the boys had played hundreds of live shows honing their act.

Their debut album was captured by producer David Holmes up at Kog studios and mastered by the infamous Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, The Cure, Beastie Boys).

With the band more than familiar with the lay of this green and pleasant land through countless tours, they have recently been on the road with such artists as Gramsci, The D4, The Have, Sommerset and Powderfinger. The boys' on-stage shenanigans have slowly crept from the underground up to a point they will never be able to look their mothers in the eye again.

Autozamm so far have 3 radio hits and several videos under their belts. They’ve slapped and punched their way though one video [You Don’t Know Me], swung from trees on another [Day To Day], played their way to a girl's heart on their latest [Sweet Love], and captured in one take nothing but 3 minutes of rock n' roll destruction. Capturing so many good times on film just happened to score them a couple of nominations for best Indie Video at the Juice Awards and Best Video at the Kodak Video Awards.

If you are in Auckland city, you can ckeck them out at their album release party tonight:
