An Auckland teenager has appeared in Manukau District Court after suggesting explosives were hidden in a government building. Ifraaz Joseph (18) pleaded not guilty to one charge of threatening to harm people or property in what was allegedly a protest against the new Copyright (Infringing File Sharing) Amendment Act. The bill is intended to deter people from illegally downloading and sharing film and music files. It came into effect on September 1, rushed through under the Canterbury earthquake legislation.
