Wink or Growth?
25 March 2010
The latest release from EMI NZ 'Music For Cougars' is set to hit the shelves this coming Monday. With tracks from Paula Abdul to Bananarama to Grace Jones, it looks like an OK album to pick up for a bit of laugh on the drive home from work. The cover-art is another story altogether.
The Cougar on the front appears to be winking upwards with the lower part of its eye. Huh? Rather than a wink it seems like a fur coloured growth has taken over the poor creature’s eye. Then again, with the concept they're going for (a Cougar being an attractive older lady) maybe that was the idea all along. The blind, growth eye represents the Cougar getting old and the rest of it's fine so that's the attractive part??
