Well done to b.Net who as usual can mix music genres and come out on top. This awards compilation is a prime example with everything from ambient to dub to good ol' Kiwi rock'n'roll. Shapeshifter sets the mood in smooth, ice-block-melting goodness. This moves through some high quality work from P-Money and Deceptikonz, Trinity Roots and Pine, to a finale of pumped-up energy rock from the D4. Many of the tracks are fresh as they were recorded in various live-to-air broadcasts. The artists offered are a great sample of what is to offer from the b.Net line-up, and the transition from one style to the next - not always smooth, but certainly deliberate. Released on FMR, this is the summer soundtrack for 2002. Nice one b.Net.Related Information
