Hooster: Rotate

Hooster is the name - you might remember this trio of lads from Christchurch from their 'Rotate EP' and a little song called Lucy, back in 2003. And now this, their debut album, is a clean collection of some pretty decent pop/rock. Nicely put together, it's a debut to be pleased about. I'll admit, it's pretty safe stuff, each song colouring well within the lines but this will certainly give them a sure spot on the radio. In fact, the song Rotate is currently on the airwaves, with new single Throw following in its footsteps. 'Rotate' is a sedated cat in a box starting to wake up and I want to see Hooster break out and go wild. Out now on Failsafe Records.
