Two years after their debut release 'Subsets of Sets' the boys from Napier are back with their second album. This time the feel is much more like one of their live gigs, coming across with a massive full and textured sound. The songs are much darker and introspective, but still seriously kick out the jams. From the quiet opening of controle the album builds and builds, and by the time it gets to jimmy hoffa and skew....aard you know you're hearing something truly special. Forgoing the unified sound of 'Subsets' this time the songs are much more distinct and each one has an amazing confidence bred from all the band's touring. Getting better with each listen this CD has a lovely diversity and invites you to see just how loud your stereo can go! Many influences come to mind but it's original enough to be totally unique. Don't miss this one!
