Peter Posa: My Pick

Peter Posa is a Kiwi guitar legend whose trademark style was instantly recognisable on '60s hits, notably White Rabbit. A hard working musician Posa toured the world and played with some of the top artists of the time. Now after a long period of recording inactivity he has returned with a double disc of country classics and gospel tunes that reflect both his formative years and his more recent turn towards religion. This time however the electric guitar has been shelved in favour of the acoustic in a search for a more expressive sound and right from the start it is obvious that Posa has lost none of his skill or technical ability, nor has the use of acoustic guitar diminished that quintessential Peter Posa sound. Recorded with the Wallace brothers of Kamo, 'My Pick' has a back porch easy going country feel that reflects a return to his musical roots while also providing Posa with a low key, yet dignified return to recording after 25 years.
