GLASS VAULTS: Into Clear EP

The second EP from Wellington-based electro duo Glass Vaults is soundscaping in its most ethereal and hypnotic form. It might be only four tracks long, but an average song length of seven minutes gives the hovering synths, haunting vocals and ambient drums ample time to lull you into its serene and meditative world. Wait for the beats to drop and the pace to lift and you’ll be disappointed; this is music that rises and falls in intensity but remains true to its own, transcendental sense of time. ‘Glass’, the pair’s first EP release, earned strong bandcamp attention and the blogs are already starting to buzz with appreciation for this latest offering.
