DENNIS KLOPPER : Not Long Ago

Pianist and composer Dennis Klopper impressively won a first place for third track Arctic Dreams in the instrumental category of the US ‘Song of the Year’ competition, and btw is cousin to renowned Italian tenor Alberto Cupido. Arranged and produced by Mike Mccarthy at Manuka studios in Orewa, this is an understated and melodic evidently Christian offering, contrasting spiritual instrumentals with the expressiveness and sentimentality found in soundtrack music. There are swells of rock keyboard and plaintive, songlike melodies on this disc – which makes for nice relaxation music. Closing track Day By Day is an almost country-influenced tune featuring guitars and electric bass tones, also available separately as a single by Christian pop vocalist Rob Innes. Related Information
