LITVAK ATTACK: Aftershock EP

Although they say they are much more, there is no helping but comparing Litvak Attack to one of the most popular all-female rock bands in history. Because, well, that’s what this all-female four-piece band are – our very own Runaways. Even with only six tracks on this debut EP they have not left anything out. Two of the songs are live recordings, one of them tellingly a cover of The Runaways’ Cherry Bomb. Rather unconventionally for a debut EP, they have included a bonus DVD. It contains the music video for Aftershock – their first single – a behind the scenes video, audio tracks with lyrics and a picture slideshow. ‘Aftershock’ is self-produced, with the help of Jason Backhouse at MoreCoreAudio, and there is plenty to admire and enjoy about this first-time effort.
