The people at Round Trip Mars have produced another laid-back Summer jammer. This sequel builds on the success of the first Sideways release, and in the same groovin' vein as the Dub Combinations' releases. The 14 tracks that made it onto the album were apparently picked from scores of submissions, the resulting line-up being an eclectic selection of music from some of NZ's most promising acts Ð alongside Sideways veterans SJD and Juse are the likes of Phelps and Munro, DJ Logical and International Observer. The infamous Stinky Jim lends his talents to the album's production, and has found a nice balance. A veritable showcase of Aotearoa hip-hop and electronica, and very easy on the ear. If you enjoyed being Sideways in the first place, you'll certainly enjoy Sideways Too.Related Information
